Nigerians must move closer to God —Oshoffa

PASTOR and Spiritual Head of Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, on Friday, in Lagos said Nigeria could be king of nations if the leaders and the led moved closer to God. Oshoffa said this at a prayer session for the nation organised by the church, at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Onikan, and attended by other spiritual heads and members of CCC from within and outside the country, including Superior Evangelist Samson Banjo, who is a member of the Board of Trustees of the church. The event, which coincided with the celebration of the establishment of the CCC by its late founder, Rev. Bilewu Oshoffa, was used to celebrate the Holy Mary, the Mother of Jesus. The prayer session, which witnessed praise singing by the church choir, amidst showers of rain, also saw numerous prayer warriors, including Evangelists Benson Ayegbusi, Ekunola Davies, among others, praying for God to restore Nigeria’s past glory.
